A few days after Thanksgiving the Heights (a neighborhood close to us with shops) had an open house for Christmas and Santa was to make an appearance. It was a beautiful day so Paul and I got out the stroller and walked to the shops. It isn't that far but it is farther than I thought when walking! I didn't have many of Harpers Christmas outfits out yet so I just put her in this one. This Santa was one of the best I have ever seen!!! Harper was so happy and all smiles. I really had wished she was in her christmas dress. After her picture, as we were leaving the photographer asked if we would come back in for a news segment. The local news was there and the photographer said H was so cute and so well behaved she wanted her to do it. (The other baby there was a basketcase-crying and screaming) So Harper's first trip to see Santa was on the local news!! Paul's parents recorded it and it last for only about 5 seconds but still it was exciting.
I had been trying to find time to take Harper to see Santa again with her Christmas dress on but never could find the time. Christmas Eve was my last chance. I knew my mom would go with me and Paul said he would go to if everyone went. So we all took Harper to the local mall for a photo. We thought there would be a long line but there was only one person in front of us.

Oh my word - I seriously don't think that I have ever seen a better Santa picture with a baby that young! Way to go, Harper!!
