Birthday celebrations!!

A few weekends ago we went to Nashville to celebrate our birthdays. The only thing Paul wanted for his b'day was to go hunting in Nashville so we planned the trip. It also gave us a chance to meet up with my family for dinner and celebrate with them too! We all have birthdays that are about a week apart from each other (except for my dad) so we can usually knock it out with one big dinner.

We stayed with my Aunt Janna who is always a wonderful host and never turns us away even at times that she should. We got there late Thursday and she and the boys had made 2 birthday cakes. One chocolate for me which is my fav and a chess one for Paul which is his fav. How sweet was that!! They even stayed up late on a school night until we arrived to eat a piece. The boys absolutely love Paul and could not wait for him to get there. At one point Will was running around with the house with a handmade beard on his face to be like Paul-hilarious!

I have many pictures very similar to the one above with me and the boys and my homemade b'day cake from my aunt from past b'days. Some include my college friends, roommates and past boyfriends but this year we have Paul and Bella- perfect!!

Don't you love the over the hill grave they put on Pauls cake??

my mom with her digital picture frame

my parents suprised me with some jewelry from Tiffany and Co. Very fitting don't you think???

Paul kept asking the boys where their Arkansas T-shirts were that we gave them. Will put his on the next day but had this attached to the front of it- "Hello my name is Will a Big Vols Fan" and I believe if you look at the fine print it may say "also razorbacks"...... Drew uses his for a sleep shirt only :)Thank you all for a wonderful and very special birthday weekend!!! Both of my brothers were also in attendance but I didn't get any pics of them:(

Oh Bella....

The night before I was going out of town I packed my bag and left it in the floor. Bella knows what this bag means and acts weird everytime I get it out. I have found her doing this lately, she will lay on top of the bag to remind me that she is going with me wherever that may be.

I was cleaning the floors the other day and moved Bella's bed on top of ours to get it out of the way. When I went to get it to put it back this is what I found.

Who ate all the Candy??

There are only 3 days left until Halloween and Paul and I have managed to eat all of the candy! Today on my lunch break I bought more to put in the jar but only a little. I also found these really cute witch angels that were perfect to hang from the top. Let's hope their magic works!!

Birthdays, Weddings, and even Rome

We have been very busy this month. This past weekend we went to Kentucky with my parents for a wedding. The wedding was in Greenville, KY a town my Dad grew up in and where he and my mom met. This was Paul's first time to go so of course my parents pointed out all kinds of things to him and each one came with a story such as the high school, former homes, churches, people, etc.

There is this one store called Uncle Lee's that is one of my dad's favorite. It basically has any and every kind of toy a hunter could want. He could not wait to take Paul there. They actually went twice in one day. My Great Aunt Peggy went with us to the wedding so we were able to spend time with her as well and manged to do some shopping at places that didn't carry camo.

I found this really cute red and lime green mesh wreath downtown and had to have it. I had about 20 compliments on it just carrying it to the car. Paul wanted to resale it to see if we could make any money since everyone seemed to like it so much.
My dad was sitting on the bench but I made him move because he was covering up the mum

At the wedding with my Uncle Charlie.

This was taken two weeks ago from the Nashville airport. I went down to send my parents off for their trip to Rome. The have since returned and have some amazing pictures. They had a great time!

The next pics are from Paul's grandpa's 89th Birthday party. We were able to get together for a grill out and watch the Razorback game a few weeks ago.
Brooks loved chasing the dogs and would squeal at them. They didn't like it so much and would run away from him.
No we did not get another dog. We were dog sitting my mom's pup while they were away in Rome. She and Bella are best friends and loved having the other around.

GO HOGS!

The Search

Ok so I am on the hunt for some new bedding. My current bedding is from Anthropologie and although I have loved it for the past ummm 4 years it needs to be retired. First the duvet cover has faded from all the washes and after getting married Paul has insisted we get something less girly and last the buttonholes have all torn and not longer stay closed on the down comforter. So this weekend the search for new bedding begins!!

But where???

Does anyone have any suggestions for great places to purchase new bedding?????
