Recently.....

Paul took this picture on his phone last night at the Mexican restaurant. It is may favorite one right now! Can you tell I dyed my hair??? I am not one to EVER get my hair dyed but I found a picture on Pinterest with a hair color I liked so I decided to give it a try. I thought it would be something fun to do for our upcoming trips. Sad thing is I can't really tell much of a difference.

Paul bought this ball for Harper before she was born at Ikea. She loves it!! She is so funny because she likes to fall chest first on it. I have had to stop her from doing this because sometimes it rolls out from under her and she goes face first into the floor causing tears and screams. Other than that she laughs and smiles when playing with it.

She is pulling up on EVERYTHING!!! My SIL gave us these table and one night while Paul and I were in bed we started hearing all these creepy sounds. For a moment we were both freaked out and neither of us would get up to find the source. Finally, Paul remembered the warning she had given us about it going off randomly if you do not turn off the switch. We both got a good laugh about it and I had to text her and tell her the story of the scary table!

I did some volunteer work so I could get a presale pass to the consignment sale. It was SO worth it. There were only maybe 20 or 30 people in the presale making it much easier to shop. I found so many cute smocked summer things for Harper. While in line to check out, the ladies around me were commenting on my wonderful finds. I told them that half of my purchases had the same vendor number and that I just needed to meet the vendor. Another lady in the line across the way also commented to me on my wonderful goods and how much money I was saving causing one of the workers to look my way. She took a glance and said "oh that was my daughters Easter dress last year." Turns out she was the vendor of most of the dresses I had! All of us ladies were in shock of the coincidence. I discretely gave the lady my name and number in case she had any more dresses for me :)

We had a home inspection later that day that took soooo long so we went to Paul's parents house. I had just been to the consignment sale and was so exhausted so Harper and I took a nap. She slept like a rock. We slept for about an hour and then I woke up. My arm was tingling and finally I just had to wake her up. She never naps that long.

Alot going on around here!

I took this before work the other day because Harper looked like such a big girl in her dress and tennis shoes

with our house on the market there have been a few times that we have had to get out of the house for a showing. This is hard to do with a baby and two dogs. Most of the time we go to Paul's parents house or we go to the empty parking lot close to our house and sit in the car for 45 min!!! This is Haper and Daddy in the car-we get very bored!

Harper is pulling up on everything. It won't be too long before she is walking!

The day after Valentines Day Paul returned from a business trip. I was exhausted from work and taking care of Harper and the dogs all by myself. I was doing some work on my computer that night when Paul asked me what Harper was playing with? I look and see her playing with this box. I felt bad because I had given him attitude all night because I felt like I was having to do everything so of course he took the opportunity to make me feel even worse by doing this nice gesture. He loves to get me that way and always laughs about it! He is such a stinker!

We gave Harper her first puff the other day. At first she laughed when we put it in her mouth but then her face went to this.

• you have started to notice cartoons on tv and will briefly glance at the tv when they are on

Sleepy

A few posts back I put a picture of Harper asleep in her high chair. Well this was her the other day at the grocery store!! I had to move her from a sitting position to a laying one because she was nodding off.
One day last week I picked her up from school and I didn't see her playing so I asked the teachers if she was napping. They said they had just put her down because she and another baby, Lilly, were in the floor playing and Harper got sleepy. Harper laid in Lilly's lap and went to sleep and Lilly started rubbing her head. I would've have loved to have seen that!!

There's No Place Like Home

Harper had her first night away from home this past weekend. My mom has been begging me to let her come stay with them for a few days and with some trips coming up I thought I may need a trial run. I would rather be all emotional at home knowing I could go get her at anytime rather at a resort with Paul and his company with no way out other than a plane!! I met my mom halfway in Memphis. My brother came with my mom so she would have an extra pair of hands in the car. I am SO glad he came. It was SO good to see him!!!

This was her in the car on the way to Mimi's. I typed and printed out a "helpful hints" page for my mom. When they got home my brother told my dad that Harper came with instructions!-ha

Chris was able to stay a while and visit with Harper. Looks like she loves him!

My mom teaches the baby class at church and this was Harper in class. How stinkin cute!! When mom sent me this picture I said "where is her bow?" she said one of the other babies pulled it off!

You would think with a free weekend Paul and I would have all sorts of plans but Paul got sick on a business trip and when he got home all he wanted to do was rest. Then Saturday we had a mid-day house showing so they took up our day. We did manage to get out Saturday morning before the realtor called. We ran a few errands and got Harper a new toy. Other than that it was take out and On Demand movies!! Thank you Mimi and Papa G for taking such good care of Harper!! I know she was spoiled!

Days of Our Lives

Since this is my online scrapbook, I have to document what happened on Friday. I picked Harper up from school and was signing her out at the door. Her teachers didn't notice I was there so I was able to watch Harper play for a few minutes ( I love watching her play at school without her noticing) She eventually looked up and saw me at the door. I waved to her and smiled at her. She gave me the biggest smile, dropped her toy, and started crawling towards the door where I was standing. I almost started crying. Her teachers saw what was happening and was encouraging Harper to make it all the way and were moving objects out of the floor so she could get to me. It was precious!!

Last week I got out Harpers bath seat to try. She looked so cute and like a big girl in it. You basically have to fill the entire tub to use it so we may put this back up until she is bigger.

This was last week, it is blurry but you can tell Harper is laughing at Bella and Bella is ok with Harper because Bella approached her........

and this is from this week, Bella is not ok with Harper! She was growling at her. Bella was laying on the couch in her normal spot and Harper crawled up to the couch and was pulling up on it to get to Bella. I guess she was invading her personal space. I got on to Bella and spanked her but really I can't blame her too much I just have to teach her that her growling at Harper isn't acceptable.
