Facts About You

Here are some things we have learned about you in the past 2 weeks of your life.
1. You have really loud and strong sneezes and get the hiccups at least once a day. Your yawns are so big and last for so long that they make us laugh

2. You like being swaddled when you sleep. You could sleep for hours if your swaddled and most of the time you do. I usually have to wake you up to feed you.

3. You fight sleep. I think you are going to be very strong-willed and fiesty. Once asleep you could sleep for hours, it's getting you to sleep the first time that is the hard part. After that you usually go back to sleep pretty quickly and most of the time you fall asleep during feedings. You are starting to like your swing more and more and will often take naps in it.

4. You are so strong to be so little. You are already trying to hold up your head and have come very close to rolling over.

5. You love to suck on your daddy's thumb. While at the hospital the lactation nurse showed us this technique to calm you if needed before a feeding. Sometimes it works for me but it always works for him. I believe you could suck on it for hours.

6. You like noise. You love to be where everyone else is and have slept peacefully in a room full of people talking. You don't seem to mind the barks of Solomon or Bella either.

7. You love being outside. You seem so calm and happy when outdoors or in the sunshine.

8. You hate to have your diaper changed and cry everytime we do it. You hate cold wipes but love warm ones. You have never cried when you have a dirty or wet diaper. Sometimes I never know how long you have been wearing one because you never let us know.

9.You hate to have your clothes changed, this could be an issue because we have alot of cute outfits to put you in and that might mean multiple outfit changes a day :)
