We took Avery and Harper to lunch at Jodi's favorite restaurant before driving to the lakehouse. The girls were so nice to Harper and loved on her.
Jodi and her family spent one night with us at our house. Cooper and Harper are only a few months apart. Harper did not know how to react to another human being her size in her house. She actually cried every time Cooper would come near her. She eventually warmed up to him and the other kids. She used to be very social when she was in "school" but now she is very clingy. I know this is just a stage and that all kids go through it but we are starting to think she may need to start a MDO program soon so she can socialize with other kids.
The lakehouse had a hot tub and a guest that was not invited!! Gross! Paul actually came out and got rid of him. Seven girls squealing and running away in the cold was quite hilarious.
Harper has taken an interest in feeding herself with a utensil. It makes her so happy!
The kids found the doggy door and had so much fun going in and out of it.
After watching the other kids do it Harper would go to the door and you could tell she was trying to figure it all out. Sometimes she wants to be bigger than she really is.
Paul cooked one of his deer tenderloins for the group. I was more than happy for him to take it because I do not eat deer and we have some leftover from last year in our freezer and he has already got another one this year. From what I was told it was REALLY REALLY REALLY good!!
Griffin decided he wanted in on the fun and eventually so did all of the other kids
I cherish my girls weekends and am already missing them!!!
