We went to Georgia with my mom's side of the family for the holiday weekend. We had a horrible trip. To begin Harper doesn't ride well in the car. We rode with my cousin Amanda and her husband John. They do not have kids yet and after this trip they may not for a while. Just kidding..hopefully. The places we stayed at were horrible and so dirty. As soon as we arrived we all wanted to pack and leave but we had 20 family members, trunkloads of food and had all driven 4 hours. There was really nothing to do except stay. It was no one's fault. The travel agency the houses were rented from misrepresented the cabins and once we arrived they did nothing to correct it. Anyways, the boys had a wonderful time fishing on the lake and for that I am grateful. Harper would not sleep in her pack and play so we had to move her to our bed resulting in sleepless nights for Paul and I. It was so bad we did the unthinkable and pulled out the paci for Harper to have just to keep her calm in the car, during the day, and at night. Yes this weekend made us parents of the year- child in our bed and bringing back the paci!
Football Season is officially here!!! We had to support our team for opening game day!
The cabin had stairs so of course this is where Harper spent all of her free time.
Do you see the curls on the back of my dad's hair? Aren't they identical to Harper's. This is where she gets those curls from!
