I just had to post a picture of Harper in her baby TOMS shoes. I found them on sale at a baby boutique for $14 so I HAD to buy them. She isn't really into shoes right now. She likes to kick them off. That is why I don't buy shoes. I'd rather buy her a dress or something but I couldn't pass on these. She got two pairs of adorable for shoes for Christmas from family that I love to put her in for church but other than that we do alot of sock wearing!
Harper is sitting up for long periods of time now. She loves to sit and play with her toys.
I put pillows behind her just in case she falls. Look who else likes the pillows!
One of Harper's favorite things to do right now is sit in her crib and play with toys. This has been so helpful for me. I can just put her in there and run around the house doing a few things and she is content as can be... unless she falls over... then I have to sit her back up and she is happy again. I am not sure how long this will last though because she is showing signs of trying to pull up on her bumper pad. I have been keeping a close eye on her. I know one day I will walk in there and she will be standing up!
We have one of those twilight lady bugs. It creates stars on the ceiling. Paul did it the other night with Harper and it was precious. She kept reaching for them trying to grab them. Her eyes were so wide and every now and then she would look over at her daddy and smile. The room was completely dark but when I took a picture the flash came on and the picture turned out bright as day.
