The week before last was an unusual one. Paul was out of town for 5 nights!!!! He never stays gone that long but he had 9 meetings!! He was originally supposed to be gone 4 nights but then another company wanted to schedule a meeting so he decided to stay over another night. By the time he returned I was exhausted, 5 nights and 6 days with no break or help is tiring. After ladies Bible class on Wednesday, Harper and I had lunch out. It has become a regular thing we do. It is usually just the two of us and is a really fun treat for the both of us.
This was Harper the morning after Paul returned. His flight came in after her bedtime so when she woke he went to get her out of bed. She just loved on him. It was the most precious thing ever. She adores him and misses her play buddy when he is away.
Paul carved us a pumpkin. He always does a great job and every year manages to come up with something different. Harper did not know what to think of it and was little scared. This made Paul happy because he wanted his pumpkin to be "scary"-ha!
Our good friends the Hethcox's invited us to their neighborhood Halloween Festival followed by dinner. It was freezing! The girls loved playing in the corn.
Henslee enjoyed trying to eat it.
Meghan's neighbor Ashley had us all over for dinner. Her daughter has the same play kitchen I bought Harper for Christmas, only in red. Harper's is pink. Harper and Henslee loved playing with it. This made Paul and I both excited for Christmas so we could give it to her.
Happy May!
